    Fabulous Feasting!

I think I already reviewed the Feast Mat, but I did just buy 3 more to use in my professional capacity, giving me another opportunity to rave about them.

    Best slow feeder

We have an 80 lb Bernese mountain dog very young very feisty very immature. Eats way too fast and has stomach issues bought and tried every slow feeder there was This by far and away is the absolute best It's heavy duty weighted rubber is a classic and wonderful West paw design one we love especially for his toys as well. Because he has a wider snout he's able to get into all the ridges because they're space just perfectly apart where he can get his face and tongue in and it's really an excellent product I would recommend it to anyone.

    Wave Mat success

I chose this mat because of the recycle ability, 2 sided option, and overall design of food channels which seemed better thought out than others I looked at. Blue is not a great lick the plate clean dog, leaving bits behind, so I opted for the more open wave design. He is not a gulp eater but enthusiastic. This winter I've had a difficult time getting him enough food it seems. At night he bugs me after evening meal, and as a very senior but highly active dog I feed him several times a day, so I chose this to occupy him and hopefully satiate him for his "midnight" snack. It seems to help. I spread some of his raw food meal, a few squeezes of bone broth, a little extra pumpkin puree, sauerkraut or kimchi which he loves (!) and sometimes some dehydrated treats. Sort of whatever I can think of. He is not a fruit or plain cooked veggie, other than squashes, eater. it is also heavy enough to stay in good place on his feeding mat which has a small edge to it. Highly recommend!
