This bowl is truly lovely; it’s well-made (bonus points for being free of toxins like BPA & made from recycled materials), has high sides, is sturdy, non slip, super easy to clean & perfect for my 37lb border collie! We use it outdoors and I also bring it to the agility course.
The bowls are large and deep enough for a big square Old English Sheepdog snoot. And, when West Paw says, “they stay put,” they mean it. Easy to clean and staying just as if I took them out of the box. The color is a deep, somewhat pearlized cerulean blue. For those of you concerned about toxic plastic, there is no odor to the bowls. Just what I needed for two Old English Sheepdogs! Love my purchase and highly recommend.
Great bowl! Dogs love it! Non slip. Recycled materials and able to recycle when finished. On that subject, it would be nice to have a facility close by to be able to recycle to avoid shipping costs! Overall love this company!
Got this bowl because I wanted to use bowls made in the USA vs China but my dog thinks of the bowl as more of a toy than a food/water bowl, maybe because it's the same texture as the other West Paw toys he has? However, it works great when I have a Toppl full of melting yogurt, pumpkin, and other misc treats. I just put it in and it holds the melting Toppl toy in place for no mess on my floor or my dogs crate.
My dog just immediately flips it over!
