We developed our Seaflex material used in our No-Slip Bowl and Doggie Placemat to be safe to eat off of – BPA Free, Phthalate Free, Latex Free, & FDA Compliant
Any residual food can cause bacteria growth. We recommend a top rack wash or hand washing in hot water. If the temperature boost in the dishwasher is not used, bottom rack is perfectly fine, especially to allow people to use dishwashers for the mat.

Love that it's made from recycled plastic! The nonslip feature is perfect for keeping the bowls in place. The red is more of a purple or fuchsia, but I personally don't mind that.

Sturdy. Looks great. Non-slip and holds bowls in place. It was the absolute best solution I could find.
The placemat stays put and is so easy to clean! It has the most unique feel, is somewhat pliable and weighted perfectly. The size gives plenty of room for two bowls and enough space that any spills stay within the mat. The color is a deep, somewhat pearlized cerulean blue. For those concerned about toxic plastic, there is no odor to the mat. Just what I needed for two Old English Sheepdogs. I Love my purchase and highly recommend.
