Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ¼ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup cooked turkey, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp dried strawberries, finely chopped
- ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
- ¼ cup low-sodium turkey broth
- coconut oil (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and rolled oats.
- Add the cooked turkey, dried strawberries, applesauce, turkey broth to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.
- Roll each portion into a stick shape, approximately 6 inches long and 1/2 inch thick.
- Place the sticks onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the sticks are golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Once baked, remove the sticks from the oven and allow them to cool completely on a rack.
- Once cooled, warm the coconut oil and coat the treats with a brush utensil!
- Put into Qwizl and top off with yogurt on both ends for a finishing touch!
