Some people think that playing tug with their dogs can make them more aggressive, but that's actually not true. Playing tug can be a great way to redirect destructive behavior, it's good exercise for their brains and bodies and it's a nice way to bond with your best friend.
My dog absolutely loves this! It’s the one toy she has out 24/7 and still doesn’t get bored with. She’s a power chewer, so I was apprehensive about getting one of the “moderate chewer” toys but it has held up for months just fine. I also love that it’s hollow, so when she throws it around it’s much quieter than the Hurley. She also seems to like that it squishes when she chomps it. If she ever manages to destroy it we will 100% be replacing it! As seen in photos, it’s almost always with her 😊
I’m always looking for something Colt will actually fetch and this Zwig is the winner! I like that it’s easy on his teeth when caught and especially that it’s made from non toxic recycled material. I might have to order another one :)
He likes to chew on it, but it's a bit too heavy for playing fetch:) He's only 8 pounds. It won't be too long before he grows into it so we can play outside in the water and back yard.
Our dog really loves her zwig. We play with it on our walks in the forest and she loves to carry it and throw it up in the air. The zwig keeps her safe from eating sticks or pine cones. The material gives nicely so it is perfect for her teeth. It is light weight so she carries it easily. The length is perfect for tug of war s as nd playing keep away.
In comparison with previous westpaw chew toys that my dog has received as a gift which last almost a year this one was very disappointing. It separated from the seem almost immediately when she started chewing. This was a bit pricey to come apart so easily. Very disappointed.
