Tux®

I don’t know why I kept buying these, as you can see they are not so tough, as you can see my Golden Retriever managed to destroy them. I liked them because they are easier to clean after filling with peanut butter than the Kongs. They have gone up in price so much that I will look for an alternative. When I first started buying these they were about $12, now they are $28-$30. The black one was supposed to be even tougher but that was not the case.

I was hesitant to purchase this because I wasn’t sure what kind of treats I could put inside that wouldn’t immediately fall out. However, after my German Shepherd puppy shredded a supposedly durable chew toy from a different company, I decided it was time to head back to West Paw and get a toy that would actually hold up. We’ve had the Qwizel for months and it still looks brand new, so when I saw the Tux listed alongside it as a durable option for chewers I decided to give it a try. I should have bought it sooner because Athena LOVES this toy! She plays with it all the time, even when I haven’t put any treats in it. Despite all the chewing and tossing, it still doesn’t have a dent or scratch on it. Extremely durable, would highly recommend for anyone that has a power chewer! As for my fears of what kind of treats it would hold, I shouldn’t have worried. Apples, cucumbers, jerky, chews, freeze dried, the list is endless. Thank you, West Paw!
